GIENC® HOURS Program
The new GIENCĀ® Hours curriculum integrates the goals and objectives from the North Carolina Occupational Course of Study (OCS) Program recommended by the State Board of Education.

High school students with disabilities who meet the HOURS program criteria are eligible to participate in the program. These student interns are paid piece-rate for the work they produce. In addition, the hours they spend in the program are counted toward the OCS work requirement that they need to earn a High School Diploma.
